A panel of local chefs, restaurateurs, gourmands and maybe a celebrity or two will donate their time and taste buds to judge this year’s event, looking for the ultimate combination of appearance, taste and texture.

Balance of Flavor/s — 45 points
Texture — 25 points
Overall appearance — 10 points
Creativity and appearance of display — 20 points

Following the judging, the pies will be put on display for people’s choice judging and tasting.

There will also the opportunity to any festival-goer to win an entire pie! We will conduct a people’s choice raffle event starting at 11:30 am at the grove during the festival. Donations will be accepted and raffle tickets can be placed with your favorite entry.
